Writing
Conservation and Ecology
Much of my writing focuses on similar topics as my academic work. I am particularly interested in how people and societies value wild spaces, and how our own personal interaction with nature affects how people interact with society.
Outdoor Sports
I also use my writing to explore the social and culture aspects of outdoor sports, particularly snowboarding. I try and focus on the usually overlooked aspects of the outdoors, in particular gender, sexual, and racial diversity, snowboarding culture and mental health, snowboard films, and risk in the mountains.

Other Forms
I also enjoy writing creative non-fiction, fiction, and poetry, exploring much the same ideas as above, but in different forms.
